Kwase Phillips
Kwase Phillips is the Founder of Skyside Compliance, a woman-owned compliance firm helping employers manage workplace drug and alcohol testing with greater clarity and less administrative burden.
Before founding Skyside, Kwase spent nearly eight years at Visa and more than two decades in banking, payments, and financial services, working in highly regulated environments where compliance, risk management, documentation, and trusted partnerships were central to the business.
She launched Skyside after recognizing a common problem for small and mid-sized employers: the rules may be complex, but the support available to manage them is often fragmented, impersonal, or difficult to navigate. Skyside was built to provide a more practical alternative, with responsive service, clear communication, and one point of contact for ongoing program administration.
Today, Skyside manages DOT drug and alcohol testing programs nationwide and supports state-specific non-DOT programs, random testing administration, FMCSA Clearinghouse support, testing coordination, training, policy coordination, and compliance recordkeeping.
Kwase's approach is simple: make compliance easier to manage, keep the program organized, and build the kind of client relationship people can rely on.
Make compliance easier so clients can focus on running their business with confidence.
